Madame Anise, A Madame Mouse

Sometimes you just have to make a doll to see what it will look like. This is the case with tiny Madame Anise, I had to see her. Standing just seven inches even with her feather this is Marie Antoinette's smallest lady in waiting. She has all the details of her larger companions but at half the height. Dressed in a combination of Liberty and Andover fabric this little autumn madame was a joy to make and oh so fiddly. Her beaded and belaced sleeves are just an inch and a half! She will probably be a one off unless the madame mouse muse takes me xx
