Amber An Autumn Mouse

 

This is Amber, an autumnal fairly furry fairy mouse. Dressed in russet tones from Liberty, a fabric called Archive Patchwork. Her dress is teamed with a rust dot cotton and white tulle mesh lace. Finished with burnt orange organza ribbon, tiny buttons and tan leather shoes.
She is a brown mohair mouse with deep brown eyes, tan ears and a little pink tail. She has carnelian to her heart with a spice autumn mix to her stuffing. She sports a little wand, a sampler pillow and tattered wings. Her facial details are hand embroidered with a pink nose, white whiskers and deep brown eyelashes.
She really does embrace autumn and is ready to fly around the woods turning all the leaves to yellow and brown.

A Trio of Crimson Christmas Mice

 

As part if the Christmas Craft Drop on Folksy this week, here are three crimson Christmas mice. A lovely fabric in bright crimson red with a hint of green and gold, this is Sarasa Red by Makower and part of the Good Tidings collection.
Each mouse is teamed with crimson accessories, be it a crimson silk cravat or bright red leather shoes Winterberry, Cranberry and Scarlet are a very traditional Christmas collection. Both the girls sport white 22 count sampler sachets and Cranberry has a little leather bag which is bright red for all the Christmas cards he has to post.
Trimmed in white with crimson cotton they each have a tiny frosted piece of river glass to their heart and a spice mix to give a warm festive scent.
Finished with tiny red buttons, red ribbon and a golden acorn they have the warmth of the hearth and home of a traditional Christmas.

Tiny Personalised Mice

 

I have just introduced personalised mice to hang on a little ones wall or sit on a shelf. Each mouse has a personalised sampler sachet with the baby name and date of birth stitched. The little girls are dressed in a Liberty tana lawn called Poppy and Daisy with a blossom pink linen petticoat and white tulle lace petticoat. Stripey legs, with cotton drawers and leather shoes. Each mouse has a piece of rose quartz at their heart for love with lavender in their stuffing for a gentle scent. The little boys are also dressed in Liberty tana lawn Poppy and Daisy but with a waistcoat, plus fours and a crisp white linen shirt with a silk cravat.
Each is hand made with the sampler stitched with up to twelve characters for the name and with a birth date beneath.
