Lapis, A Summer Morning Mouse

Lapis is a tiny furry fairy with a gentle heart. She has carnelian to her centre with warm summer chamomile for a gentle scent. Dressed in Liberty tana lawn Wild Flowers fabric with pail blue dot tattered wings and underskirts. Her outfit is completed with tulle petticoats and broderie anglais drawers. She sport tiny leather shoes, a sampler pillow with a little felt wand.
Her mohair fur is a warm blue on a deep orange contrast ground and is one of my favourites to use.
Tiny blue leather ears with a hand embroidered face and deep blue eye she truly is a summer morning mouse.

Flax, A Summer Mouse

Little Flax is a new Fairly Furry Fairy Mouse with a beautiful Liberty print dress called Wild Flowers, this is the cream and yellow colourway. She has a soft ivory mohair body with a tiny pearl eye and white leather ears with a pink leather tail. She sports a tiny wand and a sampler pillow with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and tattered wings. Her underskirts are olive dot by Acufactum with white tulle and broderie Anglais drawers.
To her heart is a citrine crystal with chamomile in her stuffing. Genuine Lancashire chamomile I might add! Tiny, tiny sunshine yellow leather shoes finish her ensemble.
Citrine is such a lovely crystal to use, it harnesses positivity and is protective. I must admit I like it in summer as it seems to hold sunshine xx

A Midnight Summer Fox

This dapper chap has gone to his forever home but I wanted to share him with you. A blue silk cravat teamed with gorgeous Liberty lawn called Curious Land and Japanese yarn dyed plus fours.
He has sturdy boots in black leather with a large foraging bag for all his finds.
He has midnight colours but a fox coloured body and I like that better than the black bodied foxes I had been making. The strong orange makes the darker colours pop especially the blues.
Interestingly I am finding folk want the fox boys over the fox girls and have actually stated that preference. That is the joy of being at a show and hearing what your customers think.
We had a lovely day at Blackburn and made plenty of sales but it was the interaction that is so valuable.
