My Top Nine Photographs for 2024

I thought I would join in the fun, this is my top nine for 2024. I am so surprised that Wednesday Addams is top of the list. Busy working on a Tweedy Frog Lady and listening to the B52's. I will be open again on Monday 6th of January with new stock to share by then, hopefully. A small collection of tweedy ladies ready for a winter walk in the woods or by the river.
I am starting slow for 2025, giving the poor old hand a chance to rest but loving getting back to work.
Have a fabulous New Year and enjoy your celebrations wherever you are and my warmest wishes xx

Marmite Mice

These little midnight Christmas mice were my Marmite mice. Folk either loved them or hated them in equal measure.

Me, I just fell in love with the fabric and just adored the black teamed with the gold silk.
Each had snowflake obsidian to their heart with frankensence in their stuffing. They really stole my heart.
It never ceases to amaze me that you cannot predict what will be popular what not. Sometimes the fabrics I love are just not that well received.
These three were named Aurelie, Aurea and Eurig. One of the ladies that bought Aurea, the little girl in just her dress, regularly orders witches for different events and different seasons or because she has found a great fabric that she loves but they must always have green skin. I love making them and all my commissions. It is so interesting to work with someone else's vision.
Just to let everyone know that the sale is still on with only a few dolls left and that I will be posting out for the last day on 10th of December, when I will shut the shop until mid January.
I really is starting to feel a lot like Christmas which is a good feeling xx

Her features are hand embroidered and she has a little pompom tail peeping our from her cotton drawers. Her petticoats are black tulle and coral chambray with tiny black leather shoes.
