The Leather I Use

 

Most of my dolls have leather shoes, tiny little pieces of leather, punched and sewn. I find to go through my sewing machine comfortably no piece of leather thicker than 1mm, preferably 0.6 or 0.7mm. I use an 80 standard needle and this works well.
I buy my leather in a myriad of colours much of which is in tiny pieces, not larger than 10cmx20cm. Much of it is preowned.
