A Mischief of Mice

I have made a family of tiny Harvest Mice for the Winter Arts Festival at Lytham Hall this coming November 16th/17th. They are dressed in colours for Autumn, Winter and a few for Christmas. A few white ones too.

They are smaller than my grey house mice and have little pink leather tails. Just love the new tiny size xx

Erith, An Autumn Robin

Erith is a little Autumn robin dressed in a lovely Liberty lawn called Floral Eve. The fabric is a favourite with pressed flowers in shades of orange, yellow and pink.

She is hand embroidered front and back, as are her wings. She sports a little pouch which has tonal hand embroidery and is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes.

My favourite time of year, strongly drawn to all the colours of the season, the bronzes and oranges.  I love the smells of autumn and all the pumpkin lattes that seem to be around xx
